Requests should be submitted at least two business days in advance to allow us time to process the request and find a facilitator.
What do facilitators support?
The setup and facilitation of broadcasted (IVC or Zoom) academic events, including:
- The setup and operation of local classroom technology (e.g., computers, cameras, microphones, control systems, etc.)
- Zoom:
- Room connection to Zoom meeting
- In-meeting management (including managing participants, securing the meeting, and assisting with breakout groups)
- Recordings
- In-meeting troubleshooting
- Best-effort remote support for remote attendees (the IT Service Desk provides full remote support and facilitators may direct individuals to them)
What do facilitators NOT support?
Events that do NOT have a Zoom or broadcasted component. This includes:- Any and all Face-to-Face only events, no matter the location.
- For help with Face-to-Face only events, please schedule through USU Event Services.
- Events that are recorded only and not broadcasted.
- For event recordings, please reach out to Academic Media Productions or Student Media.
