Exclamation Triangle Known Issues
Please unmute the codec (make sure the all mute is green) before disconnecting your call. Otherwise our face-to-face classes have technical issues.
Monitor Power and Input:
The monitors will not respond to the touch panel. You may need to turn the monitors on manually. If the content of the monitors is not showing properly (i.e. you see a menu screen or a bunch of ads), try using the remote control to search through the inputs until you find the correct HDMI output.
Projectors:
The projectors are on 3 hour timers. To ensure that the projectors do not turn off during class every 1 hr and 30 mins go up to the touch panel and move the camera a little bit. This will reset the projector timer and will make it so the projectors do not turn off during class.
Auto-Framing:
Do not use any auto-framing or multi-stream option to control the focus of the camera. This can cause some issues with the camera or will fail to properly capture the professor/students.
Lightbulb Helpful Room Hints
This room is set up for dual monitors. When the monitors are set to be "split" on the touch panel, the sites will be displayed full screen on the front monitor while the presentation will appear on the projectors.
All of the student microphones can be controlled with the "push to talk" buttons located on the desks of this room. Simply press and hold the button to unmute the microphones, then release the button to mute them again.
This room automatically amplifies the instructor microphone. In order to turn this feature on or off, select the "microphones" option on the touch panel and toggle the sound reinforcement on or off.
