Exclamation Triangle Known Issues
Monitors:
All monitors need to be turned on by remote or by hand.
Volume is Extremely Loud:
If the room's volume is really loud, try opening the xPanel on the facilitator computer and lowering the volume there instead of the Zoom Room Panel. You will need to use the Arrow keys to lower the volume and not just drag the slider.
Facilitator Monitor:
You can no longer view the camera self view on the facilitator monitor. It will only display a black screen. To view the call, you will have to log onto the call on your personal device.
Auto-Framing:
Do not use any auto-framing or multi-stream option to control the focus of the camera. This can cause some issues with the camera or will fail to properly capture the professor/students.
Lightbulb Helpful Room Hints
The Microphone button on the Zoom Rooms Touch panel acts as the all mute button, so if it is muted, the whole system is muted. Instead, log into the facilitator computer in the back of the room. On the desktop of the computer, there will be a file labelled "xPanel".
When you open this application, you will have access to a panel that controls the student microphones. On this panel, there are other things that it looks like it can do, such as sharing content and camera things. The xPanel should ONLY be used for Student Microphones. Everything else will be controlled from the Zoom Rooms Panel.
