Exclamation Triangle Known Issues

Auto-Framing:
Do not use any auto-framing or multi-stream option to control the focus of the camera. This can cause some issues with the camera or will fail to properly capture the professor/students.

Facilitator Computer:
If the Wi-Fi gets disconnected, make sure it is connected to "eduroam" on the Wi-Fi page. If not, start a PureChat and someone will come look at it.

Lightbulb Helpful Room Hints

The instructor desk is placed in a darker area of the classroom. If you notice that the instructor appears dark in the Zoom meeting or the instructor requests more lighting, you can find the light switches to that corner on the wall behind the panel located near the instructor desk. (The panel is located on the same wall as the facilitator station.)

The Room Controls page is where you will find the control to switch between the instructor and student cameras. The camera controls to move the camera around and zoom in/out are still found on the main page of the touch panel.

The student mics are also controlled from the Room Controls page. Please note that there will be no beeping to let you know whether or not the mics turned on. The only way to know is to check the lights on the mics in the ceiling. If the light is green, the mics are on. If the light is red, the mics are muted.

The microphone found on the main page of the touch panel is the all mute. This means that any audio coming from the room will not be heard by distance sites when selected
