This is a receive classroom only.

The third floor of the geology building is facilitated by one facilitator by shift rather than by individual classes. If you facilitate the 3rd floor of the Geology Building, you will most likely be facilitating multiple classes at the same time. As always, prior to the class starting, please conduct site check-in and help students get situated with the technology. Then, once the room has been set up, station yourself outside in the hallway in the facilitator station (near GEOL 302) and be sure to let students know where to find you if things go wrong with the equipment. 

There is a "Facilitator Here" notice you will need to velcro to the wall. The notice will be found in the remote box. When you arrive, put the notice up and place the notice back in the remote box when leaving.

The touch panel in this room will look like a face-to-face touch panel. To activate the Zoom Room features, select the Zoom button on the top of the panel. Once selected, the system will automatically change the TV inputs and set itself up to be a Zoom Room. From this point, you will be able to use the touch panel like any other of our Zoom Room touch panels.

The student microphones are run via remote. The remotes are found in one of the classroom materials boxes in GEOL 302. There will not be enough remotes for all students. Just try to disperse the remotes throughout the room and show the students how to work the remotes. At the end of class, please be sure to check that all the remotes have been returned.
