Origination

The picture below is of the Custom Switch Page set for an Origination course. The Custom Switch is found by selecting the upper right hand button on the Codec Video Layout page. Please note that if you are using a different present source, "1 Projector" and "3 Rear Content" will change depending on the source being shared. The picture below is a good starting point to setting up the room, but it may be customizable depending on the preference of the instructor. If you need to change sources, remember to click, drag, and drop the sources from the selections above to the desired location. 

NOTICE: The facilitator monitor is only capable of showing the sites, not the facilitator view (sites, presentation, selfview all on the same screen).

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CODEC VIDEO LAYOUT IS SET TO AUTO, PLEASE SET THIS CORRECTLY OR THE ROOM SET UP WILL NOT WORK PROPERLY

Receive (Split View)

Below, the Custom Switch and the Codec Video Layout Pages are setup for a Receive class. This will set up the room to show the instructor full screen on the smaller TV on the left and their Presentation source full screen on the Projector. If the projector does not show anything (is blank), it most likely means the originating site is not sending out a presentation. The projector will remain black until a present source is sent from the originating site.

Wireless Instructor Mics

• There are two wireless instructor microphones in this room. Both mics can be used separately, or at the same time.
• Mics are located in a rack of equipment inside a storage closet near the back of the room.
