Exclamation Triangle Known Issues

Cameras:

Sometimes, your camera will now show an output because they are turned or and/or they freeze. To solve this issue, double-check if the light on the camera is blue. If not, press the power button on the remote to turn it on. If it is blue, you will need to reset the camera. Contact the office for help with this.

Access to Camera Remotes:
If you have a problem accessing the drawer with the camera remotes in it, press the button twice (pressing the second time a little harder). This should allow you to open up the drawer with no issue.

Auto-Framing:
Please do not use auto-framing. The cameras in this room are not equipped to auto-frame. It will cause the cameras to not be controlled by the touch panel and the call will lose video.

Front TV:
The front TV can have trouble turning on via the touch panel. If you run into this issue, use the Samsung remote to turn on the TV.

Lightbulb Helpful Room Hints

The student mics are also controlled from the Room Controls page. Please note that there will be no beeping to let you know whether or not the mics turned on. When the microphone option is flickering between red and green, this means that the student microphones are muted. When the microphone option is a solid green, this means that the student microphones are unmuted and can be used within the call.

The microphone found on the main page of the touch panel is the all mute. This means that any audio coming from the room will not be heard by distance sites when selected.

The switch camera icon is on the home screen.

  • There are two wireless instructor microphones in this room. Both mics can be used separately, or at the same time.
  • Mics are located in a rack of equipment inside a storage closet near the back of the room.
