Setting up a Receive class
In this room, the instructor and their present source can each be displayed full screen on separate displays. To do this, follow these instructions:
- Press the "Displays" button on the touch panel (located above the volume controls)
- Select "Center Flatscreen" then select "VTC A" from the sources
- Select Left or Right Projector, then select "VTC B" from the sources.
If the instructor is not sending out a present source, the projectors will remain black until a present source is sent out.
Known Issues
If there is not video showing up on the monitors or as a presentation source start up a chat. Example: When the doc cam is selected as a present source, distance sites do not see it but it shows up on the projectors in ENGR 401.
This room has both tabletop mics and ceiling mics. The Student Mute button on the touch panel controls the ceiling microphones and does not control the tabletop mics. The tabletop mics can be turned on individually by the students. For most classes, have the students use the tabletop microphones and not the ceiling microphones.
Controlling the cameras from the main page of the touch panel/XPanel does not work. Instead, move the cameras by going into the camera controls page.
